Good Karma & Vipaka

Sponsorship Program is the purpose of good karma. Buddhists believe “Good karma creates the foundation for a happy and positive life in the next birth”.

Educ Nepal provides education and development to the economically & socially challenged children of Nepal whose parents cannot afford to send them to school.

Educ Nepal accepts these poor kids whose parents work all day to earn a living. They undertake to teach these kids- computers, arts and crafts......these children are encouraged to play games, sing , dance and have a non-formal education (Alternative Schooling Program). However, when a child is ready for regular school, Edu Nepal sends the children to regular public/private scholls. In order to do so, they needs sponsorship for education of such children. It is imperative to secure the future of these kids. Without a sponsor their future becomes uncertain.

Educ Nepal has 35 children currently registered and five more are expected as at June 2010. Their limitation is 40 children. Almost cent percent of the children are from socially and economically challenged background. More than 50% of the children live in a squatter’s area nearby. Occupations of majority of the male guardians are unskilled labour working in building construction, and women working as domestic helper and few even work as porter in carrying bricks etc in building construction.

Educ Nepal is  in the process of seeking both financial and technical assistance from various organizations to support their work.  If you’re interested in making a donation or sponsoring a particular program or project, please contact us via www.nirvanagroups.com . We will put you in touch with Mr. Bishnu Ghaleji; they are particularly interested in raising money towards scholarships for educating orphaned children. The cost of living, education, medical facilities and various programs designed to provide opportunity for the child's advancement and would cost $ 30 per month. This means $360 per annum.

You could help in two ways on

        a) Personal basis

       b) or through institutional support .

If you want to help on a personal basis. For example Doctors could organize free health camps;  teachers can help in teaching, student can volunteer etc or regular monthly sponsorship.... You know the best how you can contribute.

For those who are entrepreneurs, business owner or corporate executive ,the directors of this company would like to recommend , institutional approach, because  this is a sustainable approach. If you do not have global community involvement policy, it's a right time to establish one.
